De verduurzaming van woningen is niet alleen goed voor het milieu, maar ook financieel aantrekkelijk voor huurders. Door minder energie te verbruiken, kan flink bespaard worden op de energierekening. Verduurzaming draagt bij aan een gezondere leefomgeving met minder luchtvervuiling en betere luchtkwaliteit. Voor de corporaties is verduurzaming belangrijk voor het waardebehoud en verhuurbaarheid van de woningportefeuille en verduurzaming is nodig om te voldoen aan de Nationale Prestatieafspraken die in 2022 zijn ondertekend. Woningcorporaties, gemeenten, huurders en het Rijk hebben hierin bindende afspraken gemaakt.
Het verduurzamen van woningen is een belangrijke stap in de strijd tegen klimaatverandering. Het is een investering die niet alleen goed is voor het milieu, maar ook voor onze portemonnee en onze gezondheid. Laten we daarom de handen ineen slaan om te komen tot duurzame en klimaatneutrale woningen.
Waarom verduurzaming woningcorporaties?
Verduurzaming van de gebouwde omgeving is essentieel om invulling te geven aan het Klimaatakkoord en de wereld beter en mooier te maken voor toekomstige generaties. Naast het feit dat dit volledig aansluit bij het DNA van ons bureau, is er steeds meer wet- en regelgeving vanuit de overheid om zorgorganisaties te verduurzamen.
Zo is al het maatschappelijk vastgoed verplicht om in 2030 en 2050 respectievelijk 55% en 95% CO2 uitstoot te verminderen (klimaatneutraal). De Green Deal Zorg 3.0voegt daar nog de tussen-doelstelling 30% CO2-reductie in 2026 aan toe. Daarnaast is investeren in verduurzaming van vastgoed veelal financieel aantrekkelijk.
